I was brought into this newly created role in order to build the supply chain capabilities of the Owens Corning Appliance business, with responsibility for the sourcing and customer service functions as well. Accomplishments in the role include: creation and implementation of a sales & operations planning process (S&OP), update and implementation of Infor XA MRP/ERP system, and streamlining international business processes to fuel global business growth.

I lead a team of supply chain professionals in the Personal Health Care category, with responsibility for business metrics including customer service levels, inventory and free cash flow. My team is a mix of managers and individual contributors, with responsibility for site integrated production planning, category supply planning, and delivery of initiatives to bring new innovation to market. My team manages complex global supply chains for several brands under P&G's Personal Health Care umbrella. This role also includes active participation in the demand planning work process, supply network design, and breakthrough work process improvements. We work closely on a daily basis with internal and external suppliers and customers, in order to optimize the service and inventory throughout our supply chains. in doing this work, we utilize tools and systems including: SAP, Kinaxis RapidResponse, Microsoft office and Tableau dashboards

My responsibilities as an initiative operations leader (IOL) included managing the supply of chain of products as they phase in/out of customer product portfolios in order to maximize service and minimize costs. My specific responsibilities were for Gillette blades & razors at club stores in North America, managing from external suppliers to customer distribution networks. On a daily basis I managed and coordinated the efforts of a multi-disciplined supply chain team in order to provide seamless transitions to our customers while delighting consumers. This role also included the launch and implementation of a brand new supply chain in order to support a growing direct to consumer ecommerce sales channel for the brand.An integral part of my role was working as part of a cross-functional team including marketing, sales, engineering, finance & others to bring new products to market on schedule and on or below budget. Utilizing lean methodologies I participated in multiple supply chain based value stream mapping projects, as well as work process improvement projects in this role, working to drive waste out of the processes and systems that were being utilized.

During my studies at Fisher I focused on supply chain management and strategic thinking. I was Vice President of the Fisher Veteran's Association, and an active member in the Operations & Logistics student group, multiple case study teams, and the Global Applied Projects program to gain international business experience.

As a supply chain process manager intern, I conducted project based work utilizing the lean methodoloy based Greif Business Process. Projects that I worked on included integration of a new S & OP process for an plant in South America. I also conducted SKU rationalization & reduction analysis to weed out unprofitable SKUs, and a reverse logistics opportunity analysis to optimize costs. I also conducted cross-functional training within the company to educate non supply chain personnel on system dynamics, and the effect of forecasts and communication through a supply chain.

Partner of a training business based in Morrow Ohio. During my time with the business, I assumed responsibility for digital advertising and search optimization, and the business's online presence on several social media platforms. I also was responsible for developing and launching new training courses, to expand the product portfolio of the business.

As a licensing specialist, I was responsible for, training and onboarding the four licensing coordinators on my team, as well as delegating projects and workload balancing for the members of my team. Additionally, I still conducted issue resolution on complex insurance licensing issues to prevent any breakages in business written by the field.

As a licensing coordination I was responsible for promptly and efficiently processing requests from our agents in the field regarding their licensing and appointment status. During my tenure in this role, I was also given the responsibility of training other employees in operation of work systems and processes.

During my four year tenure in the Marine Corps, I gained valuable skills and experiences that are the foundation of my leadership principles. I had the experience of leading small teams of Marines in operational and training settings. I also learned the importance of critical decision making skills, and the value of working cross-functionally and cross-culturally. My primary MOS in the Marine Corps was an infantryman (0311), although I also received supplemental intelligence analyst training.
