-Supporting CEI Africa, a grant facility on Results-Based Financing (RBF) porfolio and Smart Outcomes Fund (SOF) component to provide outcome-based grants and technical assistance to green mini grid developers and stand-alone off-grid enterprises implementing productive use of energy.-Supporting GreenShift Africa platform aimed to boost capital for electro-mobility start-ups over the next two years, with a view to facilitating imports of electric vehicles. This is an initial investment of $50 million to enable a 75,000 electric motorbikes, tricycles and buses to be deployed by 2025 in several African countries, particularly in East Africa.

Implementation of a research project assessing the potential, performance, economic feasibility, and environmental impact of two-wheeler electric motorcycles in the Kenyan market.

• Assist in the conceptualization and realization of quality assurance frameworks of the World Bank's Lighting Global and VeraSol Program in the Off-grid solar markets in Africa.• Conduct performance, quality, durability, and safety tests on solar products (Pico and Solar Home Systems) for off-grid applications as per Lighting Global quality assurance standards and IEC TS 62257 standards.•Performing desk research regarding quality standards and energy access.• Develop and review standard operating procedures (SOPs) for test methods.• Coordinate and align with government/regulatory institutions (EPRA and KEBS), private sector, development partners (IFC), NGOs i.e., CLASP, and other stakeholders to jointly develop concepts for sustainable energy solutions•Assisting in the Calibration and characterization of lab measuring equipment and overall research facility support.
