When I was young, my parents would tell me constantly that the most important thing you can do is help anyone who you think may need it. Growing up, that message always stayed within me, driving me forward. Whether I was an organizer for Chai Lifeline, a counselor at Camp Simcha Special (a camp for children with physical disabilities), or an Adviser for NCSY, the desire to reach out and help has always remained strong.As a Dorm Counselor for the Fasman Yeshiva High School, I had direct responsibility over dozens of high school students, ensuring their well-being and making sure they were safe and happy. This included being available to them for help and guidance, coordinating extracurricular events with the school administration, and generally making them feel like the school was a home away from home. As a Youth Director and Rabbinic Intern for the Young Israel of New Rochelle, I worked with children from nursery to 12th grade, planning fun and educational events, organizing groups and davening sessions, and ensuring that the YINR is not just a synagogue to the children, but a true center of Jewish life.After receiving Semicha from Yeshivas Rabbeinu Yitzchok Elchonon and an M.A. in Modern Jewish History from the Bernard Revel Graduate School of Jewish Studies, I moved to Chicago, where I learned and taught in the YU Torah MiTzion Kollel. In my current role as Director of Student Affairs at Fasman Yeshiva High School, I plan programs and assist in the day-to-day activities to enrich the lives of the students at FYHS.What I would like to know is....how can I help YOU?
