As an Artificial Intelligence student at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Computer Science, I am really interested in pushing the boundaries of machine learning and large language models to solve meaningful problems. With a solid foundation in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C, and proficiency in key ML frameworks, I approach technical challenges with both precision and a focus on making real-world impact.This past summer, I had the privilege of working as an ML Research Intern in Professor Lei Li's lab within CMU's Language Technologies Institute. Here, I focused on delving into LLMs for code generation using a self-align pipeline and exploring a novel non-greedy tokenization algorithm for improved downstream performance on spelling and string manipulation related tasks. Through innovative methods, I contributed to projects that improved LLM performance, which reinforced my commitment to impactful work within AI.
