AIB Capital Markets - Source and review key pricing data for all AIB Capital Market products and review prior to daily distribution to core systems within necessary time frames. Data includes interest rates, foreign exchange rates, volatility rates, equity prices and bond prices (& any other rate sources which are required). Analysis of rate and price sources on a frequent basis to ensure independence and integrity of information with particular emphasis on traded credit (Fixed Income). Service reviews with internal customers and external price vendors, appraisal of prospective vendors. Reconciliation of FX Open positions reflected in accounting entries against dealer positions of previous day to ensure no unnecessary exposure to exchange rate movement. Responsible for in depth analysis of bond market pricing through the liquidity crisis to assist auditor approval of alternative pricing strategy.
