I have a strong history of operating in 'human glue' type roles which connect what is written down with how decisions are actually made within complex organisations where human dynamics are important.Linked to my passion for writing I have a natural curiosity and listening for the story behind the detail has helped me solve business problems. This has also seen me become a trusted advisor for situations that require nuance and complexity.These capabilities are underpinned by experience within recruitment, procurement, workforce strategy, communications, and operational/orchestration roles where I have led teams and work, and been responsible for the business functions meeting their financial plans.I continue to be passionate about sportswriting and pursue this whenever life allows it through paid and volunteer roles.
