Upon graduating from the Lehigh University Integrated Business and Engineering honors program with degrees in finance and industrial and systems engineering, I joined the UBS Wealth Management Graduate Talent Program (GTP), where I worked across six different teams over the span of two years learning about different areas of wealth management sharpening my professional skills. After two rotations in the Chief Investment Office (CIO), I placed out onto the Asset Allocation team. My responsibilities include generating trade strategies and managing the UBS House View strategic and tactical asset allocations, creating investment research content for use by financial advisors, as well as appearing on podcasts and presenting to clients.My rotations in the GTP included capital markets: developed an understanding of day-to-day operations across trading desks of various asset classes; banking strategy: learned how to drive new initiatives forward in one of the fastest growing areas of the firm; a financial advisor team: gathered a boots-on-the-ground understanding of advisors’ work in the field; client strategy: gained insights into what is most important for clients and how we can best tailor solutions for them; and investment research, learned the intricacies of fixed income and sustainable investing across two separate rotations.My education and work experience enabled me to develop a strong analytical background while building professional acumen in the business world. My biggest strengths are problem-solving and collaborating with others to reach the best solutions for team goals.
