- Routinely interfaces and builds rapport with all appropriate levels within the laboratory.- Responsible for providing technical and sales support to customers for Ortho Clinical Diagnostics products within an assigned geographic territory. This support is primarily through System Verification of new equipment, training, adding new assays and troubleshooting, as well as supporting the sales process within their District.- Responsible for ensuring that OCD System Verification studies and training for new equipment are completed. Upon completion of the OCD crossover, data is presented to the customer and the new system leading to TOR (Test of Record) in a timely manner. - Conducts follow up with customers, and provides continued support/training post implementation.- Focuses on additional tasks including mentoring and coaching of other LS's, additional District projects and presentations, and troubleshooting with customer alerts.- Works with internal resources and the customer, to resolve technical issues in a prompt and timely manner. This includes escalating complaints received from the customer to the appropriate Customer Support Center, providing all required data and activities and following the OCD Complaint Handling Procedures.- Consults with the customer and local account team in order to ensure optimum utilization of OCD products and systems.- Initiates and implements assay additions.- Is an active member of the local account team providing pre-sale technical support as needed.

This includes reporting complaints received from the customer to the appropriate Customer Support Center, providing all the required data and activities complying with OCD complaint handling procedures.- Provides training, technical updates and mentoring related to ID-MTS Gel products for the Laboratory Specialists.
