As a project engineer, I support the project managers in the design process and do all tasks necessary for obtaining permits. Some of my daily responsibilities include:- Preparing permit sets of drawings for the entire projects department- Running cooling/heating load calculations- Designing ductwork and piping layouts and selecting equipment to meet the current code requirements- Reviewing designs of the project managers- Gathering necessary building information for design, through site visits or researching archived drawingsI've also been involved in energy audits for the Seattle Building Tune-Ups program, as well as Functional Performance Testing for PSE retrofit grants. I've created spreadsheets for analyzing capital expenditures for aging mechanical equipment, and a design checklist to follow when reviewing designs of the project managers.

Led design projects from concept to production. 5 years of ProE modeling experience (sheet metal module). Performed heating and cooling load calculations. Tested prototype units to verify design. Supported manufacturing during production of units. Participated as a member of LEAN and Kaizen teams.
