Conceived of state strategy to leverage underutilized state property to build affordable housing throughout state. On track to develop 10 affordable housing projects for 5,000+ units. Negotiated state's first Project Labor Agreement. Inked nation's largest power purchase agreement for solar energy with local utility. Developed nation's first zero net energy policy to require all new state office buildings to be constructed to ZNE standards. Initiated state's zero-emission vehicle first policy, which eliminates state purchase of gas-powered sedans.Elected President of National Association of State Chief Administrators.
