Conergy UK delivered 300mW in 2013-14.The Commercial Finance Director is involved throughout the project lifecycle, acquisition of project rights, construction and sale to the end investor.Joined Magnetar Capital (following secondment from Conergy) to lead a multidisciplinary team to invest and acquire 300mW by 31 March 2015.Total investment was over $600m and the portfolio was 32 projects across the UK.Team will work with the EPC Contractor / legals / Technical Advisors to ensure all runs as to plan and handover to the asset manager and O&M teams.

Board level role in the Company which has a small but focused team working on planning, financing, installation and maintenance of utility PV (1mW - 20mW). Established in 2010, the UK operation has commissioned 123MW (2014 ytd: 68MW ground mounted) of projects under both the feed in tariff and the ROC, with subsequent sales completed to new investors.Our own development pipeline is over 100MW of UK PV projects, with 16MW consented but unconstructed and 44MW submitted to planning and awaiting determination.Responsible for all areas of the finance function, including the commercial aspects of project development (Project feasibility / PPA's / guarantee bonds / investor relations / project finance / valuations of acquisitions and sales).Ultimate responsibility for all compliance and regulatory finance.In January 2014 we successfully completed the sale of the Company to Kawa Capital Management. Kawa are an independent asset management company based in Miami (with over $600m under management), and had already acquired Conergy’s downstream business in Asia, Europe and North America including Conergy entities in Singapore, Japan, Thailand, Australia, Italy, UK, Germany, Conergy Services as well as USA and Canada.The level of funds from Kawa, mean we are perfectly placed to deploy > 100mW in 2014-2015.
