I met participants, oversaw experimental procedures, applied and calibrated EEG, ensured payment of participants upon completion of tasks, and conducted a variety of computer-related tasks, including data analysis and records-keeping using Microsoft Office, SPSS, MATLAB, and EEGlab. Tutors planned and scheduled 1-hour one-on-one sessions with foreign-exchange students, during which we assisted with homework-related concepts, conversational skills, and engaged in discussions of culture. Duties also included regular email correspondence and records-keeping for tutor sessions, which were input into an online database.
