Current(Formerly CommScope CPE & ARRIS)● Lead firmware developer and architect for global tier-1 customers, creating customized bootloaders, SW stacks (ATV and proprietary), and meeting strict DRM & CA security requirements under tight schedules and limited resources. Led the full development lifecycle from RFP and design through certification and deployment, collaborating with customers, partners, systems engineering, manufacturing, and repair teams to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction.● Integrated third-party reference firmware into our codebase and architecture, ensuring alignment with product requirements, promoting reuse, and efficient maintenance, while balancing our strengths & value-add with those of the vendor. Managed the entire development process, from vendor reference boards and initial custom prototypes to mass-deployment hardware and ongoing field support. ● Led the Firmware & Manufacturing Architecture Workgroup, collaborating with fellow Distinguished Engineers across the globe, to drive innovation, efficiency, and architectural advancements for our product portfolio.● Led the Firmware Security Workgroup, crafting modern and practical security audit guidelines and processes that focus on robustness and operational efficiency.● Key contributor to the eMMC Workgroup, a cross-functional and multi-disciplinary team focused on optimizing product quality against cost, particularly during supply constraints, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining product standards.
