A strategic thinker with a proven track record of successful and profitable businesses that deliver best-in-class brand experiences. I am also skilled in stakeholder management, including collaboration with community groups, elected officials and boards of directors.I am a passionate team builder and a leader who thrives on attracting and developing great talent to grow great businesses. One of the joys of senior management has been finding ways to nurture a bias for action and a passion for excellence in my teams and watch them develop into bright stars of the industry. I firmly believe that as leaders in the hospitality industry we have the power to not only make someone’s night, but also improve the lives and prospects of all our employees.In my current role as the Head of Hospitality at Lark Distilling, I have honed my expertise in project management, venue and product development, operational management, marketing, and team leadership. In addition to my executive experience, I also have an entrepreneurial spirit, owning and managing the iconic Sydney small bar, Hinky Dinks from 2011 to 2015. Following the successful and profitable sale of Hinky Dinks I wrote and published the book, The Small Business Samurai where I chronicled my experience of those years and catalogued my journey from operator to business owner.
