I teach Audio and Video Broadcasting to High School students to prepare them for careers in the broadcasting industry. We have a full live studio with control room and produce live and recorded newscasts each week with multiple video and anchor segments. My students are some of the top broadcasting students in the state with multiple wins in the state.

WCGL CBS 46 Atlanta

Studio and Control Room production operation for CBS46 News programs. Maintain the studio, prompter, monitors and audio equipment. Run prompter, audio, and graphics creation as needed.

Atlanta, Georgia

I performance managed and developed a staff of 25 robotic, jib and Steadicam operators for the CNN Networks in Atlanta. I also coordinated the scheduling of control rooms, studios, staff and equipment for both in studio and field productions for the 4 Atlanta based CNN Networks. I lead operations contact for the HLN Network editorial teams and coordinated.

Greater Atlanta Area

I led all aspects of the weekend production needs for the 4 CNN Networks. Coordinating staffing and scheduling of 6 control rooms and 7 studios for all live and taped weekend productions. I was one of the lead technical operations contacts for the CNN Domestic editorial, management and engineering teams facilitating all operations needs for the network. I.

Greater Atlanta Area

I performance managed a staff of over 40 Audio and Electronic Graphics operators for CNN International. I scheduled staff, control rooms and studios for on air and taped productions for the network. I also was in charge of managing the installation and implementation of Control Room equipment and software for the network and the training of the technical.

I implemented the network wide graphic look changes and assisted the department manager with the management of the control room graphics team and associated equipment. This included troubleshooting problems in a live control room environment and evaluating new graphics systems. I was also the lead Electronic Graphics Operator for CNN prime time programming.

Des Moines, Iowa Area

Weekend Director at KCCI TV8 in Des Moines, IA. Directed weekend and weekday newscasts for the #1 station in the market. Also directed multiple local programs including the Jim Walden Coach's show and the Iowa Realty Home Showcase program. Was the lead control room graphics operator for primary newscasts during the week and developed multiple station.

Ames, Iowa

Ran tape playback and graphics for the WOI-TV5 newscasts and advertising production the ABC Affiliate in the Des Moines, IA region. Also did grip work for live Big 8 Iowa State Men's Basketball coverage throughout the year in 1992.

Shot and edited coaches video of practice and games for the Iowa State Football team. This included shooting all practices and games and editing that footage for each specific part of the team for training and for distribution with other Big 8 teams.
