-Lead and inspire a team of chemists-Provide vision and direction to the R&D Department and overall business-Investigate new technologies and streamline processes.-Work with internal and external customers for new product development-Create and disseminate educational material to other departments

- Supervises other R&D chemists with formulation directions and experimental design.- Responsible for daily operations management of the laboratory and lab staff.- Managing and coaching other laboratory staff in knowledge management, technology development, intellectual property procurement and promotional literature generation- Responsible for major and minor projects related to the development of liquid, powders and tablets servicing a multitude of industries (e.g. food & beverage, age care, personal care, hospitality, speciality/niche)-Manages external requests from other departments (sales, manufacturing, admin, etc) requiring lab input.- Oversee the day to day lab operations and systems in accordance with ISO9001:2015, HACCP, budgeting- Manages external third party certifications (ACO, NSF Whitebook, NSF P152/P156, OMRI)- Assignment of tasks to other lab staff which may include but not limited to (systems updates, regulatory checks, cleaning schedules, lab operations etc.).

To innovate cost effective products that deliver high performance for the end user.Responsibilities:- Formulation of personal care products, domestic and commercial cleaning products (liquids, powders and tablets) based on the needs of the company and directors.- Implementing GHS classification legislation and writing SDS, while adhering to Poisons Schedule and ADG.- Be apart of the development process from idea conception, product application, formulation, to production scale-up. -Provide factory assistance- Internal HACCP and GMP Auditor to check CCP's and implement corrective action if required.- Undertaking microbial swab testing.

Design, research and develop formulations to suit the needs of the company whilst implementing a high standard of quality control. Liaise with the managing director, and senior chemist about current research projects, and production status.Responsibilities:- Develop and procure new intellectual property.- Formulate NPK, trace element, and specialized concentrated liquid fertilizers based on the needs of the territory managers, the agronomists and managing director. - Deliver a high standard of report writing on incoming raw materials, water quality and analysis, chemically compatible substances, analytical data, project work and material safety data sheets.- Monitor production methods and safety operating procedures for chemical workers in accordance with Safework SA, SUSDP, ADG.- Generate specific testing methods for fertilizer composition at low cost with high sensitivity- Communicate a deeper understanding of fertilizers to farmers within the market place.
