My first assignment began in 2013 with a low volume store. Over the last 7 months of the fiscal year the store improved in company rankings from 3rd in the district to 1st and won awards for best in district and best in region/volume band. In October of 2014 I assisted a new store manager in the opening process of a new store. In February and March of 2015 year I spent two months overseeing my own store from a distance while covering an underperforming higher volume store. In June of 2015 I moved on take over and open another new store and earned an award as best new store in the region among all volume bands for 2015. In 2016 I was moved to another higher volume location where I again stabilized a store that saw consistent turnover. During my 2.5 years here the store consistently beat inventory goals, lead the district in cashier productivity, and increased sales volume by over 40%.

As assistant store manager in addition to retaining all previous responsibilities I oversaw both receiving and loss prevention while taking over scheduling and payroll control, and assisting in hiring and performance management.

I started with Ross stores in August of 2010 as a retail associate and moved to front end supervisor in 3 months and stock lead 3 months later. I ran a team of 8 associates in this position and after a total of 9 months was promoted to area supervisor at another location. I held this position for 14 months and helped stabilize a store that had consistently turned over its management staff. During this time I also assisted in the training of 3 external hire assistant store managers that went on to other stores in the district.
