About Daniel Kühbacher
I have a passion for nature, especially the mountains but also for innovation, technology and entrepreneurship. As a doctoral student at the Technical University of Munich, I can excellently combine these topics and research for a more sustainable future. Currently, I am focusing on data-driven and cost-effective approaches to assess greenhouse gases in urban areas and measure the impact of mitigation measures proposed in climate action plans. As part of the ICOS Cities project, which is funded by the European Green Deal, I currently set up a measurement network with 100 low-cost CO2 sensors in Munich.Interdisciplinary research and entrepreneurship will play an important role in our future, as we will be faced with complex and challenging tasks. I enjoy taking on these challenges with optimism, perseverance and determination.
