The duties are primarily public relations, marketing and expansion of the credit union in St. Lucie County. The position was eliminated due to reduction in economy.

Manager of a $10M credit union, which provided financial services to all citizens of St. Lucie County. I increased the amount of assets from $3.5M to $8M in eight years. The credit union survived the hurricanes of 2004 including getting the office open in three to five days after each storm. I was in charge of all functions of the institutions including, savings, loans, investments, collections, etc.

Developed an effective risk management program for the district. The district was without a risk manager for almost two years and I was able to reorganize the department and bring everything up to date. I managed a staff of three including a Benefits Associate, Safety Officer and secretary.

- Served as president of the credit union for about eight (8) of the sixteen (16) years.

DIRECTOR OF MANAGEMENT & BUDGET - Developed the annual budget for the Board of County Commissioners. The last budget I compiled was $197 million. My staff consisted of four (4) professionals who were responsible for monitoring the budget, assisted departments in budget problems and published an annual budget. I assisted the Finance Director in supervising the staff while I was trained in government accounting. I was directly responsible for revenue receipts, check disbursements, bank reconciliation and annual reports. I assisted county is setting up the first central in-house data processing department.

I supervised a staff of fourteen (14) who performed all the financial functions of the office including A/P, A/R, P/R and data processing. I had direct responsibility for inventory control of raw materials, purchasing of materials and weekly profit and loss statement and reconciled all bank statements for the operation.

Assisted manager/owner in development of mobile home park. Duties included operation of heavy equipment and setting up mobile homes.
