Spacecraft Operations Engineer for the Sentinel Expansion Missions (priority on CRISTAL & LSTM) in a contractor role for LSE Space GmbH.

Young Graduate Trainee program in the area of spacecraft operations. Working in the Earth Observations department on the Sentinel missions (Sentinel 3, 5p, 6, CO2M, CRISTAL). Tasks include:- Document and subsystem reviews (PDR and CDR)- Creation of technical documents (e.g. ICDs, reports, requirements documents)- Coordination, testing and validation of data-handling and operations systems (e.g. EGOS MPS, MATIS, PROTOS, Opsweb, MOIS, OPEN-M, GSTVi + NDIU, SCOS-2000, Simsat)- Creation and validation of Flight Operations Procedures- Supporting user validation of EGOS-CC for the Sentinel-6 FCT- Participation in the Newcomers and Newspace Young ESA working groups and multiple times tutor of high school interns

Internship within the Aerodynamics Department (CFD Correlation Group) of Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN F1 Team

- Developed a completely new aerodynamics-setup for the rear wing of a formula student racing car- Executed Parametric CFD study on airfoils and wing setup combinations in ANSYS Fluent as well as simulation of the entire car to achieve about 20% downforce gain while reducing drag by 5% compared to previous year’s rear wing- Presented to an audience of judges at multiple formula student events alongside industry and Formula One representatives.- Documented the results in an extensive design report- Manufactured CFRP aero-parts and monocoque in a team

Carried out numerous technical, hands-on tasks in different departments such as welding, drilling, turning, milling and working with CFRP (in prototyping department).

Maintained the software and hardware of high-tec fixed-base flight simulators (Airbus A320, Boeing 737-800). Demonstrated drones as flight instructor at numerous company customer events.
