• ACCO was a leading conglomerate of branded office and school products, head-quartered in the US with operations worldwide. It acquired the Consumer & Office business unit of MeadWestvaco (NYSE: MWV) in May 2012. • I led the transitioning of the MWV Asia Sourcing operation to ACCO, and managed its sourcing office for School & Office ever since. The operation included strategic sourcing, product development, supply chain management, quality assurance and social responsibility compliance. Annual spend was around US$140 million. Mead, Five Star, Day Runner, Day Timer and Wilson Jones were some of the highly visible national brands.

• MWV was a multinational conglomerate with various business units. Its acquired Day Runner in 2003 when I was Managing Director of Day Runner's HK office. • I built MWV’s sourcing office (for Consumer & Office Products Division) up in Hong Kong since the acquisition, running Sourcing, Product Development and Quality Assurance. I also had oversight responsibility for Supply Execution and Corporate Social Responsibility. Annual spend was around US$100 million.• During my tenure, I brought in various best practices in sourcing process, built Quality Assurance system and Supplier Performance Review mechanism from scratch, as well as introduced eRFPs and Reverse Auction to enhance competitive bidding.

• Day Runner Inc. was listed at NASDAQ and had been a market leader of loose leaf organizer in the U.S. At one point it owned Filofax of UK, making it global market leader of paper based organisers and planners.• In addition to running its contract manufacturing activities, I also established a distribution network and launched Day Runner line to Australia, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines.

AMC was the outsourcing arm of a number of leading retailers in the US, including Dayton Hudson Group (now Target) and Federated Stores (before its merge with Macy's). At different times, I managed its Hardlines division, as well as one of its divisions in Ready-To-Wear and Fashion Accessories
