I was elected by a 50-man organization to oversee and manage the strategic vision of the organization. As president, my main focus is to run the 8-man executive board and oversee all chapter relationships. I lead the executive board towards organizational longevity by delegating tasks and teamwork. In terms of chapter relationships, I foster relationships with the chapter, alumni, the university, and the greater New Haven area. This position has helped me tremendously in many aspects of life. I have become a better leader, a visionary, a manager, and a superior organizer.

As loyalty chairman, I was tasked with creating study materials including notes, binders, and presentation for new members. I then teach the curriculum in a weekly, 10-week class to new members, ranging from 5-20 students. This position has benefited my public speaking and organizational skills, as I have to keep track of and make sure up to 20 students succeed in the class.

The formal chairman is tasked with planning the yearly formal event for the fraternity. Responsible for planning everything associated with a large-scale event, including transportation, venue, food, and many other aspects. This position requires a great amount of teamwork and communication, as it involves constant collaboration with several parties.

As the assistant treasurer, I helped manage a $40,000 budget along with making budget recommendations and presentations. I gained a great understanding of the financial operations of a small business.

Lead prospective university students and families on in-depth, one-hour tours of the school. Responsible for answering questions and assisting families during open houses and other events. My experience in this role has taught me great improvisation and critical thinking skills, as many families have complex questions and requests.

The intern position I held at KeyBank was a rigorous, 12-week, 40-hour per week experience. It was an immersive experience where I learned more about various aspects of banking than I thought was possible. Mainly, I gained an understanding of operational, compliance, and risk components of banking. Throughout the internship, I sat in on numerous client meetings with bankers, mortgage loan officers, and financial advisors. I was also rotated amongst several branches in the New Haven area, which helped me work with a great variety Key employees. As part of the internship, I was assigned a personal mentor and also had contact with several peer coaches, who taught me throughout my summer at Key.
