Daniel is Head of the Capital Markets practice in Korea and a partner in Linklaters' U.S. practice in Seoul, advising issuers and underwriters on private placements and public offerings of debt and equity securities, as well as advising on M&A transactions. Recent deals Daniel has acted on include advising the underwiters in the IPO of Kakaobank, IPO of Hyundai Heavy Industries, Kookmin Bank on the offer and sale of US$500 million of covered bonds; BNP Paribas on the offer and sale of US$300 million of hybrid capital securities by Korean Air; Citibank, HSBC and Standard Chartered on the offer and sale of US$300 million of hybrid capital securities by Doosan Power Systems; CJ cheilJedang in the acquisition of Batavia Lifesciences.
