Digital Core Transformation Project: Delivered system-based training to staff, ensuring the successful transition and training of staff from the outdated system Ellipse, to the new Maximo Manage application suite. Learnt new system, worked with Change Management Analysts, designed and developed eLearn’s (Articulate 360, Storyline and Risk), developed training artefacts including quick reference guides and Micro Learns (Simulations) and managed the consultative review process. Successfully met weekly and monthly goals. * Mentored and supervised 2 Instructional Designers, successfully helping them get up to speed on the project, including providing templates, advice and support.* Lifted engagement, allowed for real-time feedback and improved problem solving through the creation of an Articulate Rise mini course, with a quick reference guides. Delivered an opportunity for practice sessions and demonstrations on the system. * Developed the 2-day Train the Trainer Program, including incorporating practice of being a trainer into the program, boosting new trainers’ confidence. Delivered projects and provided advice on setting up subscription based eLearning. * Designed and developed an online onboarding program for new starters, providing new starters with easy access to information, and a framework for face-to-face education for all facilitators. * Developed an online resource for parents, as part of a pilot program on the subject of Youth Mental Health. Consulted with the Australian National University and utilised multimedia, including short videos, providing practical and emotional support to parents. * Rebuilt e-learns with new and revised content for external companies, with content matching the company’s branding and specific requirements.

Delivered a range of eLearn’s for the Build Technical Solutions team, across a broad range of subjects from frontline management to field-based product offerings. Training Prime for 2 major projects and utilised agile methodologies to allow for continuous improvements, collaboration, user-centered design and rapid development. * Authored an online course that improved Engineers skills in creating. structured documents and in communicating complex technical information. Saved Telstra up to $250K, with the course successfully built in house in just 3-months. * Delivered a Go to Market Accreditation online course, including providing the ability to monitor Managers who had received training. Formal course, (which included videos and narration), improved staff understanding of the Go to Market Process, and delivered all the tools Managers needed to achieve a successful product launch from ideation to market launch. * Created an eLearn that allowed participants to only complete training based on their role regarding the use of the Amazon Connect software (call recording software). Utilised Camtasia, Adobe Premiere Pro and created branching in the eLearn. * Rolled out eLearn on 5G in time for the new product to market, with participants trained and able to handle multiple customer questions about the product. Built different customer scenarios and developed content in Articulate Rise. * Built eLearn product in Articulate Rise for USOSat, providing easy access for Telecommunications Technicians requiring information about the product and instructions on how to install at client premises.

Returned to JB Hunter, a Registered Training Organisation delivering telecommunications training. Designed and developed a range of competency based training courses for multiple delivery methods, including face-to-face, virtual and online. * Updated Certificate III in Telecommunications product, including refreshing presentations for each unit, updating assessments, mapping competency requirements and incorporating new content. New Certificate III Telecommunications offering met both client requirements and national standards. * Provide Customer Service to Telecommuncations Customers: Delivered a highly workable online course that allowed learner interactivity with peers and the facilitator, with assessable tasks to ensure compliance and certification for participants. Built content using Articulate Rise, with course content across 2 formats (Trainer Guide and Learner Course Content).

As part of a curriculum overhaul, developed training courses for Ausgrid. Transformed outdated courses, captured and edited photo and video content and utilised Articulate 360, Rise and Storyline.* Pole Inspectors Course for Contractors: Transformed written standard operating procedures into an online course with photographs, videos and narration of each step, along with assessment questions. Lifted standards of all contractors during pole inspections, with training now mandatory for all engaged contractors.* Delivered a course that enabled Field Technicians to successfully engage in the LED Streetlight replacement program, including addressing safety issues. * Created an online course (Heavy Vehicle Drive Fatigue Management) with assessable questions for heavy vehicle drivers, improving their awareness of the regulatory requirements regarding fatigue management.

Created multiple course for JB Hunter’s major clients Telstra and nbn, meeting contractual requirements. Developed curriculum using instructional design and adult learning principles for various delivery options, including eLearning, classroom training and blended learning. Evaluated training and delivered recommendations. nbn:* Created a 10-day face to face course for telecommunication technicians delivering the knowledge and skills required to complete hybrid fibre coax installations for nbn customers. Course developed and went to pilot in just 3 months, with high ratings achieved from nbn, trainers and participants.* Created a fully accredited training for health and safety and environment for nbn staff. Condensed training from 5 to just 2 days, with theory delivered using 4 new online course units and the practical assessments taking place at the training centre. Training rolled out to nbn staff. Telstra:* Developed face to face training with instructor led activities in a real setting for 4G Fixed Wireless, with life size rooms with different roofs for aerial connections to take place. Created presentations reference guides, images, video, guides and assessments, with course approved by Telstra. * Achieved Telstra certification on a course encompassing face to face training with instructor led activities in a real life setting for VIAVI ONX Tester. JB Hunter subsequently won contract to deliver training to Telstra technicians.
