As a member of the Royal Navy Air Traffic Control Branch, I have been trained in Maritime Aviation, communication systems, Human Factors, Risk Management, Use of Navigation Aids and Radar Equipment, Flighty Safety, Human Resources and, Leadership and Management. As an Air Traffic Control Officer on the fleet flagship, I have delivered this role on operations, exercises whilst also conducting international engagement and subordinate development. In addition, I am responsible for leading a diverse team onboard of 10-20 people across a variety roles and profession.In my role as a Naval Officer, I was privileged to be involved in a number of areas such as a team member for a range of military development projects including future ship acquisition. I have been involved in areas of Equality and Diversity, Healthy Living and Sport Development. I have gained experience of Strategic management through working at Naval Command and Head Office in the position of Staff Officer in the Ministry of Defence Naval Staff and Naval Acquisition elevating my wider understanding of thinking of an international organisation.
