As a Van Technician my primary responsibilities include completely removing the interior of the vans, preparing both the inside and outside of the van for upgrades to be applied, and then applying the upgrades to the van. The process of upgrading the vans is different for each and every vehicle, some require the removal of major parts of the vehicle that cannot be reversed once removed. The vans we work on are Mercedes Sprinter vans which are owned by the local dealership. This requires each van to remain in pristine condition, so there is very little room for error while working on the vehicles. One major role I play in the complete of these vans is the installation of the converter which includes a custom wiring harness that must be ran, attached, and terminated correctly or the whole system will fail to operate correctly when solar panels and battery systems are applied.

At Vanguard my work day consists of coordinating customer repairs, upgrades, and RMAs. I process each unit that comes to us for service, and document the state it was in when it arrived, and the steps taken to prepare it to be shipped back. These steps always include disassembling the unit, determining what will be required to return the unit to a functional state, and procuring the parts and accessories each unit requires.This position requires me to be well versed in the use of Vanguard's proprietary software, which does not communicate with any additional software we use to complete this process. Each step must be accurately executed or risk having units returned to the customer in an undesirable state.

I received orders for our clients and I was tasked with assembling the machine and ensuring it powered on before sending it to be tested and loaded with the required software. I then cleaned and packaged the machines before delivering them to shipping.A normal work day consisted of me building up to 10 of these computers. This included checking all supplied parts for defects, checking the order for the requested parts and double check that with the supplied parts, assembling the motherboard, running the chassis wiring, installing required peripherals, and connecting all internal wiring.

As a Software Production Technician I process orders for game conversions and installations for casinos that are domestic and international. Each order requires me to compile certifications, PARs, and jurisdictional information for the specific casino. After compiling the correct information and documentation, I then locate and burn the required operating systems, digest drive images, games, art assets, and server tools for the order. I then locate and print the required serialization and software labels for each item. Finally I package it all up and issue it to the checksum depart who will then reverify that all the required software, hardware, and documentation is present for that order.
