Restructured and led an organization responsible for providing strategic leadership guidance for AEP’s 11 operating companies which includes the following AEP’s executive management teams: Regional Transmission Organization (RTO) Policy, North America Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Compliance, Transmission Interconnection Services and, Public Policy.

Created AEP’s regulatory support client/service organization to provide strategic regulatory guidance and testimony support to distribution and customer operations, transmission, generation, environmental services, fuel cost recovery, and commercial operations business units within AEP’s 11 operating companies in 11 different states.

Pioneered this regulatory position to provide strategic regulatory guidance tied directly to operational asset performance and issues which impact AEP’s distribution and customer operations business units for each of its 11 operating companies.

Led a team responsible for creating a theory-based communication/educational plan for Customer Choice deregulation and developed education material and implemented communication processes for Customer Choice implementation.
