Through my time as the general manager at Pita Pit I have gained tremendous amounts of customer service and managerial experience. Daily responsibilities and decision making responsibilities included: delegating tasks to my employees, maintaining accurate and current employee information, sustaining strong employee relations within the branch, active business to business canvassing, scheduling for all of the employees, training, hiring, and ordering stock inventory. Most importantly I was responsible for managing the branch P/L for variable costs of restaurant stock and labor using a cost management toolkit provided by the company.

As an intern, I successfully maintained multiple projects and provided results in a timely and efficient manner. Primarily, I was expected to undertake tasks for the air and ocean export teams. Required tasks included sending compliance package mailings, operations system data entry, arranging the transportation of freight overseas, and maintaining positive customer relationships. Other departments such as accounting and sales often requested my assistance with projects as well. Endeavors for all departments required a proficient understanding of programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as the Expeditors own internal data entry system.
