I co-founded the English Language School to develop the English skills of foreign workers in the UK in order to increase their effectiveness and integration at work and at home. The English Language School now has a team of teachers and is funded by the UK Government to deliver English Language classes directly to foreign workers in their place of work. We currently deliver both English and maths classes to 800 workers per year.Poor communication is the biggest cause of conflict between people and a great cause of team inefficiency. Improving people's ability to communicate increases their job prospects, it improves relationships, team morale and team effectiveness.In 2018 the English Language School is embracing the latest technologies and going global. We are about to release an interactive learning platform and app (called YETi) and our vision is to make a difference across the world by improving people’s ability to communicate together in English.We have also expanded our brief to support young English people to find meaningful employment.
