Daniel comes with experience in various capacities as a technical consultant, as project facilitator as well as project manager for hospital related planning, system and operations.He is technically sound in hospital information system, IT system and network infrastructures, medical equipment system integration, hospital planning as well as clinical operations and hospital business processes.With an experienced technical background, a good understanding of business functions, operational requirements as well as knowledge of the core structural requirements, Daniel is able to map customer’s business requirements and recommend process enhancement base on the demographic, culture and functional need of the client in a manner that exploits the maximization of health care profession and improve health efficiency.Daniel lead in the medical network infrastructure planning from hand on information sourcing, close interaction with the users, vendors, consultants of other specialties as well as the government organizations for the planning and tender evaluation and assist in government procurement.Daniel was the lead technical IT infrastructure consultant for Institute Jantung Negara (IJN) new building and expansion project from 2008 to 2009. He reports to the overall project manager in a team of IT consultants to assist IJN meeting its ICT project deliveries. By understanding the business requirements, he has designed the overall new IT infrastructure to support the HIS, PACS and CCIS. He has helped to draft the technical specification requirements for the network infrastructure tender process and oversees the whole evaluation process.He currently holds the position of the Group Senior IT Manager for the International Specialist Eye Centre (ISEC), of the ISECHEALTHCARE Group a listed company on the Singapore SGX and a JCI accredited ambulatory healthcare facility with clinical branches in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Melaka, Ipoh, Johor, Kuching and Sibu Sarawak, Singapore and Myanmar.He is in charge and manages the group’s HIS System, the IT systems and infrastructure and technical related matters from planning, day to day operations and support. He holds critical roles which include organization expansion planning and design, all technical troubleshooting and problem solving from healthcare business IT operations to medical equipment system integration and technical facilities. He works closely with all heads of departments and also manages external vendors to make sure that the clinic’s operation runs uninterruptedly and efficiently.
