I have created relationships with all manor of clients and contractors in order to deliver projects on time whilst meeting client expectations.As a company we secured numerous large scale domestic and commercial projects as main electrical contractor across the south east carrying out both the residential property installations and landlord installations on a number of large flat developments amounting to £2m+ of electrical work.

Moving to Smith and Byford’s technical supervisory team was to allow me to oversea ongoing commissioning projects, check software strategies and ensure projects are delivered on time. Within my department I would attend meetings with clients to understand expectations and liase with both site managers and site engineers to ensure projects were delivered successfully.

My role at NDA includes writing specifications, point schedules, responding to RFI’s, attending site progress meetings, attending control panel factory testing, site witnessing and project management. I work independently and I am given a lot of responsibility to carry out work to a high standard and also liaise with a variety of people, from high end clients to engineers. I developed my communication skills massively at NDA and although I believe I have always been a good communicator, I only improved on my skillset and would say I have excellent communication skills.

Whilst at Kendra, I progressed massively and gained Trend Expert Level 1 status as well as invaluable experience within the industry. I worked independently and I was trusted to carry out work day to day including panel installations and final commissioning on projects. I had my own sites to look after including high end domestic sites along with massive commercial contracts across London. I feel that I always act very professionally and regularly received thanks and compliments from customers via the office. I always tried to go above and beyond and believe if something is worth doing then it is worth doing well. My role at Kendra involved carrying out small works, scheduled maintenance, project work, site surveys, and panel modifications. After each visit I completed a report, and also a quotation for any additional recommendations which could take place.

I joined BMSI in order to develop my skills and knowledge of Trend and other control systems. I am currently working as a maintenance engineer covering London and the south. I also completed the Cylon Unitron engineering training course and capable of working on multiple BMS systems.

When I started at Synapsys I was based in the manufacturing plant, building control panels for lighting control as well as BMS panels. After I qualified as an electrician I wanted more of a challenge and applied for the job of a site engineer in house. The company saw potential in me and knew I was determined to work hard and do well. I moved to the site engineering team in the beginning of 2013 where I remained.
