The following summer, in 2020, I interned at a small Real Estate investment firm based out of Brooklyn, NY. My goal was to gain experience in a different sector of real estate. Rather than working for a large residential firm, I worked for a small firm focused on investing in single family homes in NYC. At Pegasus Equities, my role was to contact prospective sellers and handle the social media and marketing outreach. I assisted in the search for properties to acquire in through PropertyShark & Zillow and generated an excel sheet detailing the specifics of each property including zone, floor area ratio & property class.
