I have held project leadership and client management positions in the engineering and consulting fields for mining projects and operations, and my career has included work in project design and construction delivery of mining dams, civil infrastructure and process facilities. The projects I have been involved with have been located in Mauritania, Ghana, USA (Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Washington), Russia, Peru, Chile, and Colombia.Highlights of my experience include:- Corporate Manager for Tailings Program at Kinross Gold Corp.; managing independent review panel, dam design and construction reviews; and providing specialist support in geotechnical engineering aspects, water balance assessments and support, and due diligence reviews on tailings dams and construction.- Owner Area Manager for the concept development, engineering, contract development and construction of a new tailings storage facility and tailings delivery infrastructure in Mauritania at the Tasiast mine.- Project Manager (Owner) for design, permitting and construction of a new tailings storage facility in Nevada - Engineering Manager (EPC) for design and permitting of a new tailings dam with a new tailings pump station with a capacity of 150,000 tpd, and multiple booster pump stations located in the Western US- Project Manager (Owner) for design and permitting of a new ROM leach pad for gold processing located in Northern Peru- Engineering Lead (Conceptual through Feasibility) for the design of a new copper tailings storage facility and water collection structures with a capacity larger than 2 Billion tonnes, located in Southern Peru
