• I perform a variety of tasks associated with hazardous waste cleanup, 24-Hour Emergency Response. Response for all Oil and Haz-Mat Spills /Non-Haz Spills on Land or Water. Transport and Disposal (T&D) of Haz-Waste and Non-Haz waste in drums, totes, cubic yard box (triwall) and all other DOT approved containers to ship. This also includes Tanker Truck and Bin Truck and Dump Truck. • Trained in chemical response, health and safety, hazardous waste operations, and in the appropriate procedures for the proper use of personal protective equipment ( PPE) levels D through A. CPR/Basic First Aid trained. • Confined space trained and rescue trained. Can demonstrate level B competence with both SCBA and air-line respirators. Have the ability to operate all equipment safely. Little work experience with site remediation. Most experience with operation of Tanker Truck, Bin Truck, Dump Truck and Loader. Equipment and facility decontamination, handling of hazardous materials, (lab Packs.) Regular project services for our normal customers and contracted customers, for example: Port Of Oakland, EBMUD, and Genentech (SSF). • Certified to operate a forklift, pressure washer, bobcat, compressors, diaphragm pumps, man lifts, and overhead/truck-mounted cranes. Ability to calibrate and use air monitoring equipment, (4-gas meter). Completed 80 -hour HAZWOPER certification & 8-hours hazwoper refresher certified ever year.

Pick up drumed hazardous waste, service parts washers, sales and meet monthly quota for Branch. Work closely with my Sale Rep in my area and bring in at least 5 new leads a day, out of a 20 day work period.Follow company S.O.P. and meet KPI plans. Allways tried my best to stay at least in the top 5 out of the West Coast Region, i think i was ranked #2 & #3 most of the time.Responsible for managing my territory, handling customers first hand, fixing, repair and replacement of machines and allways try to upgrade them to something that works better for them and the environment.Colect payment for services and also stay updated with their balance as in 30, 60, 90 days and make sure that they pay for services or fix the issue if they are to have one with billing.At the time i joined the Team at Safety-Kleen in Oakland Ca, we were going through the conversion of Solvent, to a safer water based solvent. Boy was that a great learning experience and also hard time. But also made me who i am today.Customer service was always 100% when I went out everyday. I personally loved to make them happy and build a closer relationship with them to where i could let them count on calling me on my direct cell phone.
