I worked in the Hillsboro PDX-5 Amazon warehouse during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. Daily tasks included scanning boxes, building carts, loading trucks, and moving pallets. I worked under a diverse management team alongside coworkers from many different backgrounds.

Through being on Student Government Association in the role of Vice President, I had the opportunity to serve the student body in an organized leadership setting. Some of my duties included coordinating events for school-wide activities, providing accountability for other student government leaders, being a relationship builder between diverse groups on campus, overseeing student clubs, running the Student Government Association election, managing student petitions, and budgeting the SGA funds.

In serving as a gym monitor, I helped cultivate a welcoming gym environment through building relationships with guests, promoting cleanliness throughout the gym facility, and enforcing gym guidelines to keep the gym at a high standard. Additionally, the Multnomah athletic director entrusted me with the responsibility of creating the gym monitor work schedule for the 2019-2020 school year.

At Twin Rocks Friends Camp, I was blessed to serve on the Summer Staff team where I gained experience on the maintenance crew, grounds crew, lifeguard staff, counseling staff, in housekeeping duties, and recreation leadership. I helped paint two houses, built two decks, gutted a basement, and assisted in tidying the grounds throughout the camp. I coached youth through archery, skim boarding, and the Extreme Swing. Finally, in counseling youth, I had the opportunity to counsel Day Camp (1st-5th grade), Boys Camp (4th-6th grade), Tween Camp (7th-9th grade), and High School Camp.

As a groundskeeper at Multnomah University, I learned the importance of a strong work ethic in keeping Multnomah's campus beautiful. Despite the wide-ranging weather patterns in Portland, I learned to work in a variety of work conditions. Through landscaping, I developed useful skills in areas such as riding lawn mowers, Bobcat golf carts, commercial blowers, and high-power edgers.

In being a game day worker, I served in game day functions for Multnomah University athletic events through a variety of capacities. Primarily, I performed setup and tear down duties prior to and after games. Additionally, I worked as a damp mopper for several games where I kept the floor suitable for play in the event of player collisions and falls.

At Burgerville, I developed my skills in communication, customer service, and efficiency. My primary duties included being the lead cashier, packaging and delivering food, and prepping ingredients. In being cashier, I learned the importance of clear communication and listening to the customer's needs, regardless of their attitude. In packaging and delivering food, I learned to be both efficient and polite in a fast-paced environment that did not always allow for in-depth interaction. Finally, in prepping ingredients, I gained experience concerning preparing food in a commercial environment.

As a basketball referee, I worked in a fast-paced environment alongside different referee partners on a weekly basis. I officiated boys and girls basketball of the ages 5th grade-8th grade. I also had the opportunity to work high-intensity games through working multiple postseason playoff games, as well as, several high-level middle school teams.

As a self-employee, we repurposed old fence boards into kindling. From a young age until high-school, my brother, father, and I worked under the name Kindling Kids, as we cut, chopped, and bundled the fence boards into usable firewood. Then, we sold the kindling bundles on Craigslist where we developed a clientele of regular customers.
