In my current role I am responsible for the Management of Risk, Control Issues across multiple risk horizontals including; Resilience, Technology, Data Privacy and Third Party Risk. The role includes internal evaluations of our systems and services to ensure these meet the standards and criteria laid out in the Barclays Policy and Risk.While also further expanding into educating all roles across the team to maintain and drive compliance as new deliveries are completed and as the policies and standards are updated.

In this role I provided day-to-day compliance and conduct oversight for Barclays UK Business, with an Initial risk focus on supporting compliance oversight of the thematic portfolio and execution risk in the regulatory committed, regulatory mandated and strategic investment portfolios. In addition to the above I was looking responsible for managing the Transformation portfolio while creating relevant analysis and presentations to stakeholders to provide an up-to-date compliance opinion and ensure all conduct risks are identified and considered in any upcoming regulation changes within the bank.

These projects including working closely with technology stakeholders for applications to meet the required controls and audit requirements for each application within the bank to a strict timescale while also ensuring a quality end product of work.
