Responsible for the testing at different levels of the V-Model to include Software Testing, System Integration Testing and System Testing to verify Software Components in the automotive industry for many different customers

• Responsible for the maintenance and development of test equipment and data traceability systems.• Responsible for the control and releasing of software scripts on test equipment.• Analyze test data to find trends in product fails and for process improvement projects.• Support production engineering with training, fault finding and problem solving.• Continually seek to optimize performance of the production test equipment and production systems.• Provide Development Engineers with support for NPI and new equipment projects.• Report on all events arising during production and being proactive in sharing information on technical issues.

• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines.• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.• Perform mechatronic skills including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments both mechanical and software related using PLC programming mainly Siemens, Omron and Allen Bradley.• Improve efficiency of the production machines by continuous improvement projects. This requires both mechanical and software adjustments/modifications beyond the standard installation.• Attend daily production meetings providing management updates on both critical and planned maintenance from the previous shift including plan for current shift.
