Responsibilities included general assistance with the running of a resort of over 70 staff including stepping in to the GM role when the GM was absent, acting as a point of contact for the local community to raise issues of conservation, discovering; mapping and monitoring dive sites, implementing community activities and projects to promote conservation, Travelling to dive shows internationally to promote the resort and acting as a local guide, fixer and location scout for the BBC and other television companies.

The research site in Indonesia was run for three months in the summer each year. My responsibilities included training and lecturing to students, scheduling dives and dive numbers for over 80 individuals, inputting data collected into a GIS program and dealing with any issues raised by students.
