Responsible for the co-ordination of the bakery environment and team, taking ownership of the shop while on shift. It was my responsibility to ensure that all staff members were motivated and engaged in their work as well as delivering training for new staff. Further to this, my duties included implementing and maintaining health and safety regulations, reporting and following up on maintenance issues as well as monitoring the cash flow and overall financial compliance whilst on shift.

My role as part of the international survey pool was to set up and oversee the survey of a wide range of marine construction projects including installations for offshore wind farms, floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) units and tug towing operations worldwide.

I was responsible for offshore survey positioning tasks. As a trainee it was important to identify personal development needs which I addressed with senior members of the team, allowing me to achieve my personal and professional goals. The role provided extensive experience in the offshore marine environment, through which I demonstrated a willingness to travel, often at short notice.

As an assistant surveyor, I was involved with a number of bathymetric and geophysical surveys including projects for offshore wind farms, cable and pipeline routes, aggregate resource monitoring and recommended marine conservation zones in the UK sector. The primary role was to aid in data acquisition, which comprised of deploying survey sensors, vessel steering and line driving, and overseeing online data acquisition. Office based duties included the composition of operational reports, data processing and vessel maintenance.

In this role as an administrative assistant the main duties included filing (manually and electronically), photocopying, scanning and indexing. I was employed on a part time basis during university holidays.

Shop-floor assistant through sixth form and my gap year as well as returning during university holidays. I undertook additional training for working on checkouts, service on the meat and fish counter, fruit and vegetable department, warehouse organisation and was trained to take deliveries with basic fire, hygiene and health and safety training.

I began this job as part of a work experience programme in school and was subsequently offered a part time position. I provided service on delicatessen counter, assistant work in the kitchen and waitoring.
