Daniel Lee is currently executive vice president and professor of Samsung Institute of Technology where he educates engineers and students. Before joining to SSIT, he led memory business development and product planning team of Samsung memory division. He also led software development team more than 15 years and developed many Flash-based Storage devices and solutions. He had invented many new IP technologies and produced many next generation of Flash memories and Flash memory based storage devices. He was the original member of incubating the Flash solution development team and started Flash Storage business in Samsung Memory Division. He had initiated and establised the development team. He had extensive experience in engineering organization building, teams management, establishing development methodologies & processes, including people management. He architected many new generation of SSDs and had many field experiences by leading a bunch of development projects. Currently, he is more interested and focusing on incubating next generation of memory devices and system solutions. He has also high interest of building Eco environment for memory sub-systems.
