Hello, my name is Daniel LeMay and I graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth in December of 2021 with a Bachelors in Engineering, with a focus on structures.I have had the pleasure to work full-time in a professional engineering environment at Larson Engineering and have been able to build upon what I learned at Larson along with the skills I picked up academically to make me a more effective and productive engineer. During my time at the University of Minnesota-Duluth I worked over the summer with the Minnesota Department of Transportation inspecting bridges and gaining real world experience working with the people responsible for designing and maintaining the infrastructure we use every day. Following the end of my education I joined Larson Engineering learning about all aspects of structural engineering from the consulting side of the industry.In short, my experiences have shown me a diverse amount of views on a wide variety of projects to help build a better understanding and appreciation of the engineering design and construction processes. Everything I've learned has provided me with a lot of insight and skills towards how I operate in a professional workplace.
