The VIP Travel Consultant provides an exceptionally personal, intuitive and inspiring 'end-to-end' service experience that is highly valued by VIP travellers and, just as importantly, their PAs. Working in very close collaboration with the VIPs PA, the ultimate aim of this role is to ensure that everything is done to ensure VIP travellers never have to give a second thought to their travel and can be fully focused on the objectives of their trip. This role works in partnership with the travellers PA to continually deliver the full range of travel solutions (business travel, meetings/events, visas and some personal leisure travel) that are finely tuned around the VIP travellers own specific needs and requirements.

To manage starters and leavers including relevant paperwork.To manage the recruitment process, CV screening, interviews, assessments, contracts of employment + the reference process.To manage payroll for the contracted team + tactical team.To control my terminal staffing budget on a monthly P&L basis.To manage the rosters for all terminals in a commercial fashion, adapting to flight changes and retailer support. To obtain availability for the Tactical Promotional staff and manage the bookings in advance and ad-hoc according to promotional activity.To support all Heathrow services sharing ideas with Heathrow on improvements to the service provided and reporting issues.Create weekly summaries of promotional activities undertaken, highlighting set KPI’s + illustrated with relevant photos + excel/power point presentations.Grow Retailer trade at a set % against other terminal shops.Full understanding of financial KPI’s including terminal sales, staff average sales, shop + collect, terminal transfers.To manage a team of 15 to 25 multi language shopping ambassadors, supervisors and team leaders.To manage issues of conduct, performance, disciplinary.To ensure the team complete all the agreed monthly sales and customer care objectives.To track, analyze data and report (Such as Impactors, Successes, Challenges, New Initiatives – within the team).To act as the focal point of communication for issues, information, etc and Reporting into the appropriate BAA personnel, in the manner and time-scale most fitting to the activity or information received.
