Primarily, this job allows me to work with communities to improve their existing physical asset inventory and social presence within downtowns throughout northern-lower Michigan. Through marketing, branding, job growth, reactivation of vacant storefronts, public spaces and historic preservation of key assets within traditional downtowns, Michigan communities are the target for improving the regional assets privy to those living, working an playing within the State of Michigan.It is my job to increase awareness and effectiveness of State and local efforts within a given community. I also play a key role in promotion of key reinvestment success stories the regions have made a priority to come to fruition.
