Daniel Letieri Work Experience Details
  • Du
    Data Migration Principal
    Du May 2021 - Present
    Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Joined Du at the inception of the digital transformation initiative, actively engaging during the RFP phase. Initially tasked with supporting the technical evaluation for the Data Migration partner, I played a pivotal role in formulating the migration strategy. Coordinated efforts among five diverse partners to ensure a seamless migration that safeguarded customer experience, maintained revenue streams, and adhered to regulatory requirements from TDRA.As I internalized the RFP process and contributed to partner shortlisting, my role evolved to establish profound relationships with operational support, IT, and architects. This ensured that project requirements and constraints were meticulously addressed within the Data Migration Strategy. Upon the partners' onboarding and project commencement, I revamped the working methodology, aligning partner restrictions with our SAFe agile methodology. Managed the entire scope of migration requirements, encompassing extraction and loading processes, reconciliation, data validation, quality assurance, and impacts on surrounding applications.Over 18 months, successfully executed an end-to-end migration process, incorporating CDC replication and seamless extraction and loading processes across all modules of NC BSS systems (TOMS, RBM, and OCS), HPE SRO (SOM), network elements, and surrounding applications. Achieved readiness ahead of schedule, even preceding the completion of certain components of the application solution.Strategy and governance, Data Architecture, SAFe, Jira/Confluence, Informatica DEI, IDQ, EDC, Axon, Confluent Kafka, Netcracker BSS, HPE SRO, BSCS, Siebel CRM, presentation skills, requirements gathering, vendor management.
  • Amdocs
    Data Migration Technical Lead
    Amdocs Sep 2018 - Apr 2021
    Brazil
After coming back from three years of relocation I joined two projects similar in nature: Creating the foundation for migration frameworks for new Amdocs applications, from scratch, to be used in all new projects. It was the beginning of the new line of cloud products based on microservice architecture which used Couchbase, Casandra, HBAse, Postgres and Oracle as their database. As technical lead, I guided the team on constructing the ETL process for converting relational data into non-relational data, loading it either by inserting on databases, calling APIs or publishing Kafka events. I was actively working on research and development of new frameworks for Product Management, Online Charging, CRM and invoicing modules. I was the product manager of a innovation initiative for a tool that creates valid and customizable testing data across all the modules of a BSS solution (CRM, Ordering Management, Invoicing and Charging, Accounts and Receivables and Collections) with a business-friendly user interface, for which we got recognized by innovative approach taken and the value it added to the projects. Informatica DEI, Informatica Power Center, Kafka, Couchbase, OpenShift, AWS, Cassandra, HBase, Postgres, Oracle, Product Management, leadership.
  • Amdocs

It was a digital transformation project where Movistar was replacing all the legacy applications (BSS, OSS and digital channels). I was responsible for all migration-related requirement gathering, data architecture, reporting, data visualization (reconciliation, data quality and dashboards). As part of the data quality assurance process, I was also responsible for leading bill comparisons and defect management on all aspects of migration.
