I spent 5 years active duty with the United States Marine Corps. Final rank: Sergeant, non-commissioned officer. Experience in training peers as well as leading peers in a high energy, high cost environment. Skilled in making educated decisions under strict time limits and putting success of the whole first. As a Improvised Explosive Detection Dog handler, it was my job to utilize a dog to search for unexploded ordinance while deployed to the Middle East.
