- In September 2011 I studied for 21 months at Forth valley college to achieve a HNC in Electrical Engineering.- I Had a 2 year placement at Bacton on the SHELL gas terminal where I completed an Electrical Maintenance NVQ. I was then offered a Job with SHELL as a trainee operations Technician in 2015.- I have since completed a level 3 hydrocarbons NVQ and level 3 control room operator NVQ.- I have additional roles in the workplace that include first aider, and RPS (Radiation Protection Supervisor). - Since becoming a senior operations technician, I have taken the lead role for the controlled Emergency Shutdown Testing of multiple safety systems.
