For over 50 years Power to Change (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ) has been working to help people know Jesus and experience his power to change throughout Canada and the world. This is accomplished through a strong family of 10 ministries and one humanitarian partner. As Director of Development I led the team that supports the donor engagement and fundraising efforts of each of these ministries including Athletes in Action, P2C Students, FamilyLife, LeaderImpact and Global Aid Network (GAiN).

Abundance Canada, (formerly known as Mennonite Foundation of Canada) promotes generosity by helping Canadians be generous to the charities they care most about during their lifetime and through their estates. In this role, I worked out of the BC office of this national donor-advised foundation and:♦ Provided counselling to individuals and couples in the areas of will, estate and charitable gift planning, facilitating gifts of publicly traded shares and mutual funds, setting up endowments and family foundations, as well as bequest gifts and gifts of life insurance.♦ Helped Charitable Organizations inform and engage their donors in gift planning.♦ Spoke to large and small groups in a variety of church and other settings across BC on stewardship related themes such as: Contentment, Generosity, and Tax Effective Gift Planning.

For over 50 years, Partners International has mobilized Canadians into partnership with indigenous Christian ministries - bringing holistic transformation to impoverished communities. In this role I:♦ Pioneered PI’s fundraising efforts in Alberta and BC as the organization’s first western Rep.♦ Cultivated relationships with individuals, churches, and foundations, identifying donors’ needs & desires, presenting compelling opportunities, and providing quality reports.♦ Organized and led 37 ‘Ambassador Tours’ within Western Canada and abroad.
