About Daniel Lidstone
Dr. Daniel Lidstone is a dedicated professional with extensive experience as a movement scientist, educator, and adaptive strength and conditioning coach. He is currently a Research Scientist at the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. With a PhD in Biomechanics from UNLV and Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification from the NSCA, Daniel has a wealth of knowledge in the areas of motor learning, adaptive strength and conditioning, and rehabilitation. Daniel's research uses computational perceptual-motor assessments in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) with the goal of identifying objective motor biomarkers for parsing heterogeneity of autism symptoms, to improve the early detection of ASD, and to develop novel movement-based therapeutics in young children with ASD.
