30 years international experience, combining a strong management and strategic selling background, experience in (e-) Logistics and e-Commerce with a deep understanding of technology and business processes.I spend a small 10 years in Business Consultancy (Siemens, Andersen), involved in a wide range of business and systems consulting engagements for both multinationals and fast growing companies.In 2000 I was part of the inception of Kiala as one of the founding managers. During 16 years I was in charge of product development, technology innovation and operations engineering. I took the lead in building several of our strategic partnerships allowing us to grow throughout Europe. The company experienced a 49% compound annual growth, with revenues which grew from 1.4 to 49 million euro in 2011, managing up to 147,000 parcels per day in 5 countries (Belgium, Luxemburg, Netherlands, France and Spain). As disrupter and innovator in the area of last-mile logistics, Kiala became Europe’s market leader in Collection Points and the reference partner for the growing e-commerce sector. In February 2012 Kiala was acquired by UPS, the world leader in logistics and transportation. We further deployed the Kiala concept in Europe and America and are now present in 17 countries through over 26.000 KIALA/UPS Access Points.2 years after the acquisition, I was asked to create and lead the first UPS European Innovation Center. Mission: Faster, more agile, more customer focused product innovations in a number of strategic growth areas. Last 6 months of 2016 I was heading up the European expansion of Coyote in Europe. Coyote, a UPS company, is one of the fastest growing and most trusted third-party logistics (3PL) providers in North America.
