• Oversee and manage the push of RSPO towards jurisdictional approach (JA) certification, complementing the conventional management unit approach• Review existing standards and procedures for gaps and incompatibilities in JA context• Convene cross-sectorial working groups to develop solutions for gaps and incompatibilities identified• Provide technical support and advice to RSPO JA pilots• Represent RSPO as the liaison person for all JA related dealings with members, government units and other external parties.

- Manage the sustainability projects of ECOM Asia cocoa operations which span the Indonesian islands of Sulawesi, Sumatra, Papua and Java- The work includes certifying our supplies using internationally recognized cocoa sustainability standards like UTZ and Rain Forest Alliance, managing certified quotas and marketing our certified cocoa beans to major international chocolate makers and grinding factories- We work directly with cocoa farmers, providing training on good agricultural practices (GAP), basic accounting and financial management and topics that are deemed applicable to improve livelihood of farmers. Our field team also provides technical support and assistance to farmers. International NGO and local government department are an important part of our work as source of funding and we make use of their network to extend our reach to farmers.- All in all, our team of 90 staff work with more than 18,000 farmers with total estimated production of close to 28,000 mt.- Apart from development and sustainability functions, I also have commercial functions of dealing with clients like Nestle and grinding factories in contract negotiations, help in managing shipments and claims settlement.

Handles the accounting functions of the Kuala Lumpur regional office. Responsibilities include : - payment of KL office expenses- fixed assets- monthly management reporting and analyses- bank reconciliation- audit and taxation matters for KL office.Also responsible for maintenance of information technology (IT) systems in KL office i.e. anti-virus, backup, liasing with out-sourced IT maintenance personnel, proposal for hardware purchases and software licensing. Was posted to Papua New Guinea in 2002 for one month for training and familiarisation with the company operations and also cocoa business in general.
